Five years ago I was working at Erlanger Hospital and took a 6 month break to get some fresh air and learn a new skill. I bought my first pair of steel toe boots and learned how to push a wheelbarrow of gravel down hill without dumping it over. Since then, I’ve taken every opportunity I could to master the design and engineering components of this field. I went in to business for myself as I found myself exploding with creativity and wanting to put more of my heart into other people’s projects. I also have a passion for conservation and sustainability from volunteering at local farms and nonprofits. This spills over into my work as I try to avoid waste and increase the biodiversity of every yard’s ecosystem (even if you just have some raised planters downtown!). I prioritize locally sourced materials and you can ask me about using reclaimed stone or recycled plastic for water management.
Let’s create something together!
